The experiment involving the Bhorgi replication and extension to noncanonical representations has some new analysis on a few data points. As you may remember the first version E2_04e gave us some data that resembled the original Bhorgi experiment from last summer, although not quite as nice, and the new version E2_04f is designed to allow the subject to get into an orientation groove with a two-thirds of the orientations RSU or USD according to the preset condition and less questions after the feature/probe word.

The other bit of business we had was the possibility of getting the lever stimuli into categories based on the new “identification” category. Here is the initial differentiation:

1. The sunflower bent, because of the rainstorm.

2. The sunflower did not bend, because of the stake.

3. The sunflower bent, despite the stake.

4. The sunflower did not bend, despite the rainstorm.

Have a nice break to those who couldn’t be here, and for those who were thanks to Erica for the cupcakes.
